Once I arrived in Lucern, some backpackers had the same backpack as meand I said, hey nice pack as I walked past them. They probably thought Isaid"hey nice rack" or something. But come to find out they were staying in thesame hostel as me. So we bumped into each other and walked around the city.
Now let me tell you.... Lucern is really amazing and I am glad to notspend time in the big industrial city of Zurich. Everything here is sopristine and calm. The weather is not cold at all here. The view can mostlybe explained if you take a look at the photos.
Me and the girls decided to go on a fiery ride. We got there and therewas about 5 minutes before it left, so I decided to get some food. I askedfor a hot dog and the lady slapped on a burger. I was starving and I endedup missing the boat. Oh well, it rained a ton and the view was ruinedbasically so I was glad I missed it. Instead I roamed around this funcarnival and bought some candy. It was really neat to see.
I also spent a lot of time on the internet because I was waiting to checkin and take a shower. But once I got back, the most amazing thing happened.I bumped into this guy I was hanging out with in Munich. 4 days later webumped into each other in the same hostel in this town in BFE Switzerland.Matt is from Toronto. We couldn't believe that we were checking in at thesame time, so we got the same room together. Him and I are on this trip forthe same reason.... we will be stuck with work the rest of our lives, so whynot do this now? We wandered the city and also had some pasta and pizza fordinner. We saw the beautiful hill that most of the residential housesoverlook the city at night and it was definitely nice to see. He and Italked about going to Interlaken together to Sky diving and we devoted tospend some time traveling together. But by then end of the night we workedout that we might travel for even longer... GOING TO GREECE. For his 23b-day he wants to go there and I think I will just breeze through Italy andhang out in Greece with him. I can see both Athens and Rome now. Plus hangout in an exotic beach, it should be nice, but a lot of traveling. And itdoesn't seem possible seeming that I have a flight that leaves in 12 day, butI will be in Rome for 3 days.... which is plenty. Anyway, we ended up goingto bed relatively early.
