A good friend and I had been driving around all weekend doing odd jobs with a medium-sized dumptruck he was able to get from his workplace.

A lady we had done work for over a period of time had offered to give him an extra shed, for him to keep some equipment of his in. So, around 12a that night we pulled up beside the house (which she had bought for her son), and backed-in to the backyard. This was funny, because the neighbor's nextdoor probbaly had no idea where the industrial warning-beeps were coming from so late at night.

We simply walked into the back, hoisted up the six-by-eight-by-six shed, and slid it into the bad of the truck, and closed off the back with a couple bungee cords.

We started driving the twenty miles back (we had to go the opposite direction for some other stuff first), and we eventually arrived back to his home. He stepped out of the truck to open his gate, so we could back-in the rest of the way.

A minute later he gets back in, and doesn't back-up, but proceeds to drive us off and away from the premises.

We walked for a little bit, but then I asked the question: 'So... Where are we going?'


He says, 'Yeah... We lost the shed.' 'You're kidding me,' I say. Then, he smiles, and said, 'No.. It's not back there :) '. I looked through the little window behind us, and sure enough.. Nothing.

Now, he had been looking forward to getting it, but despite the loss, we were just cracking up.

We had to backtrack ten miles. Eventually we found it in a very flat pile, in the middle of business I-75.
