| This is just one of many strange stories from my trip to Spain a few years ago. It was one of our (mine and Kate's) last nights in Valencia, and a group of our friends decided it would be cool to hang out on the beach all night. I think Kate and I had dinner at "home" and then we met up with everyone later at the Palau, where there was some kind of play or something going on. For example, my favorite was always Samantha, who was a girl that lived in New York (I think) in the 1940's. Now they have an American Girl store in Chicago that sells clothing and dolls of the characters. I'm sure my parents would have had to shell out hundreds of dollars on that stuff for Christmas presents if it was around when we were little.Anyway, Kate and I loved these books and really wanted to go to the party. I'm not sure why my mom couldn't go (I think she had to study for her finals--she went back to school) but my dad agreed to take us. So we got there, and he was the only guy in the room with all the . . . Read More..
