Crawl Memories Help
»Close
This page is the core functionality of MemoryCrawler. It is where all the magic happens. Below this help message you can see the main menu where you can apply various filters such as Memories having certain features or memories from certain locations.
When looking at a memory notice the top section of the memory, where there is the memory title as well as links to primary filters such as dates, locations, categories and memory creator.
On the left bar, you have the actions section. If you are friends with the user, you may request a recollection or even email that person. You may also hide the skin colors to a basic color if the user posted a memory that is not readable with the color layout. You may also click the stars so we can calculate how great the memory is as well as compile a list of your favorite memories.
On the right hand side, you will see more information and pictures of the memory creator. Clicking the Fountain Pen icon will allow you to private message the user.
On the bottom section you can add a comment by clicking the bottom left hand corner. When commenting, if previous comments have been made, those users will be notified of your new update. You may also view your comments and edit them inline when you hover over the View Comments Link. Another Link on the bottom section is the View Media Link. Here you get an inline view of associated media. Use the select box to pick a title of the media to load the full screen shot or click the side bar picture. Owners of the media may upload more, or delete media. Friends of the creator, may upload and attach their own media to this memory (notifying the person who must approve the attachment first). And finally you will see the date posted. At the bottom you will see a Craaaaaaaawl recordset navigator. This is inspired by google and will allow you navigate all the memories with the filter that you currently have applied.
Have fun crawling memories!

My grandparents used to own a trailor in the flint area I believe. It was a nice place where a bunch of old farts used to live. I dont really remember a whole lot about it, but one thing I cant forget about it was the time that we rented

My grandma was such a great person. She bore eight children. Doug, Mike, Linda, Patsy, Barbara, Laura (my mom), Paul and Rebecca.
She was married for more than 60 years to my
grandpa
Roy Taylor and mostly lived in Michigan her whole life.
I have the upmost respect for all she has given this family. Everyone in our extended family is so great and I love them with all my heart.
Grandma was born in Ortonville, MI in 1926 and passed away in 2004.
The world will never be the same without her. We all miss you.

turned the T.V. off.... it was kind of funny. Another thing I kind of remember was a pond where we used to hang out to maybe look at some fish. I think we just spent the night out there a few times.

So we raided the closets only to find a bag of worthers originals. They somewhat did the trick. But eventually

This is the ultimate house for memories! I have millions here. I wont even be able to document all of them.
Recently I went back to Waterford after creating this site and I was filled with tears. Theres just so much to say about this house.
My mom and dad bought it when they were in financial hell under some Reagan plan to help low income families.
My first memory of this house was when we were buying it and I found the secret door (a door linking my moms room to the one bathroom).
My room was the first room on the right upstairs and that is where I lived for 17 years.
By the time we sold it, there were mansions built all around it.
Those rich people used to call our neighborhood a swamp. But in reality they were in the swamp.
I miss that house.

We stored them in a large glass water container that had to of been from the 1950's. The container got so heavy over the years that it was so difficult to even lift.
So finally when I was in 8th grade, my brother,
nicholas
Azzaro and I counted them all up in my basement.
The total amount from pennies was roughly 400 dollars! We spent all day counting them and the bank thought we were insane!
What an interesting thing for my grandmother,
