For a couple of years, I always went out on Halloween with David. We always had fun doing it and since we were both in Cross Country, we decided to run from every house to the next. I always thought it was funny that David was the oldest person I knew and saw that still went out for the candy.

His costumes were always so simple, normally a black robe and a really awesome mask. Those masks were always so bloody sweet. So, we did this for a few years. I believe on the last year I went with David, he stole a bunch of candy from the Wilson's house because he knew Colin's brother. It was pretty funny.

Now I mostly go with my friends. My main group is Josh, Monger, and Doug if he isn't doing stuff. I remember about 2 years ago I went around with just Monger. We spent most of our time running from Christmas carolers or Monger was trying to anger them and getting hit for it. Weird way to spend a Halloween.

Yes you heard that right children.  Now if you are young enough to be on this website and you still believe in Santa, then too bad.  Just do a google search.  The internet is terrible at how it will give you the true answer about how there is no Santa.

But anyways, that will not stop me from posting the time that I learned there was no santa.

It was you Steve !  You somehow tainted me, just as I am tainting a believer reading this memory.  Now people can post memories about how I created a memory for them about how they learned that Santa isnt real.

This is pretty much the first memory I have of you.  Around the same time we used to go to 313 for games with Uncle Ted.

Post your recollection of the time you told Dan and I that there wasnt any santa.  And if people comment about how this memory shouldnt be up here, I will just make it explicit.  Glad to have you on the site posting memories Steve.

This actually happened more so from the late 1980's to the early 1990's, but that choice was unavailable....

One of my fondest childhood memories has to be the many weekend arcade trips with my two cousins, Dave (TheMemoryCrawler) and Dan (dan10878) at a place called; Area Code 313! My Father and their Father, my uncle Mike (golfnmike1959), would most times sit and drink coffee while we spent hours playing games until our fingers hurt...or we ran out of tokens. More times than not it was due to running dry on tokens.

I can recall a few arcade games being my favorites above the rest. First being the original WWF Royal Rumble game. Having the option of four people playing in the same game all at once and being that I was an avid wrestling fan, it was an easy choice. Gauntlet II, Frogger, Pac-Man (of course), Rampage and Golden Axe were some of the easy choices for me! I also remember spending countless amounts of time and my Father's money playing the first Street . . . Read More..

This one time at Compuware, the guy across from my cube would come in every day stinking like vodka.  He would spike his coffee and other things and many times I would hear him snore.

One time in particular a friend looked underneath the panel to me and tried to whisper and point at his cube.  The dude was out cold.

She explained how he comes in drunk every day, but I never realized it until she said it that the lingering smell was booze.

They fired him later probably because someone said something.

He was so weird.  The funny part about it that he was a "Professional Services" guy.  So very professional indeed.
