well,...in 1967 we were going to Montreal Quebec for celebrating Canada's 100th birthday, and I at the time was around13,14 years old so had to entertain myself with games as we traveled. Anyway...around about 3-4 hrs of traveling, an argument broke out between my older brothers Phil and Rick causing us to have to pull to the side of the road. As I was not allowed to join Adult discussions, my input was not requried; but i spoke anyway telling my older siblings that they were NOT acting as adults now and I was surprised they did not have games to keep them occupied as I did. "Adults don't play games" they said
almost in unison and gave me a look of outrage at my remark. When we got to the Expo67 site and booked in at the hotel the consierge asked us to write our names in a book to be able to have unlimited access to a ''games room" to 'play' when not with an adult. Do you remember when "You've Got Mail" was the hottest thing to hear? What types of things did you do on the internet when it first came out?

yes. and i also remember AOL giving out free disks to use to log on. I only used it for
a short while, and only for eMail.
