Original Memory Interview Question

Do you remember a time when you saw an animal behave in a really smart manner?

Her Response:

As a teen, we lived in Michigan. We had a beautiful rescue dog named Kiska. He was huge! He was a mix ofeverything big dog! I got him from Pine Knob where I worked. At first, mom was reluctant to let us keep him, knowing she would have to take over his keeping, but she gave in to mike and my pleading. He was such a loyal dog, and very smart. She trained him not to walk into any rooms that had white carpet. Although the back seat of my GTO was his favotite napping place and he was my best buddie, he was most protective of Jeanine. I remember once carrying her to my car and this dog nearly bit me. he did not like anyone picking her up. It is a good thing she wasn't crying, or I may not have a leg! He was the best dog we ever had and a good friend to the whole family.

Original Memory Interview Question

What the best animal-based memory that you have ever seen or heard?

Her Response:

My Night saving a Kinkajou :
My favorite memory involving an animal is when my mother found a Kinkajou on her front screen door. Just hanging there like a big spider. She called me and said she had trapped what she thought was a ferret and asked me to bring over some cat food for this thing. She had captured it and had it in a cardboard box on her porch. Well, the second we saw it we knew this was no Ferret! It had HUGE eyes, clearly nocturnal and a large prehensile tail. It's fur was matted and it smelled really bad. It had been in the wild for a while. We were not sure what it was, but suspected it had to be someone's pet that had been let go, as that is very common in Florida. We thought it should be released in a less populated area and not given to animal control for disposal. (That is a killing facility)So, we decided to take it out in the country, where it would have a chance, and let it loose. When we got about 20 miles from town, we stopped at the Fire station out . . . Read More..

The moo stampede:

I remember years ago working for EMS and having a long ride back to our
station in Immokalee, FL from the hospital in Naples.

We used to get so bored on the ride back there from the hospital in town. We
would often use the ambulance exterior loud speakers that ran the sirens,
for a little mischief. Once while "MOOO-ing" over the speakers we caused a
huge stampeed. Boy, did we get out of there fast.almost lights and siren
fast. We thought we might get caught if the cows endede up in the road, but
no one ever found the culprits. We had many mischief making shifts and a lot
of fun back then playing tricks on each other.

Noel and I are actually really good with audio setup and take a lot of precautions not to lose our podcasts as we are recording them.

But on this monumental occasion we went down to the dream cruise off of woodward and interviewed at least 15 people and had such great conversations and audio effects with all the cars.

Sadly, because of THE WORST IPOD ATTACHMENT the ITALK We lost our entire podcast!!!!

The i-talk is the worst piece of hardware manufactured to date! No one should buy it and pretty much the whole Griffen Technologies corporation needs to go down in flames because of such a crappy product. I mean talk about a product which is totally designed and doomed to failure. You had to manually set it to low gain in order for it not to pop and now the thing just deleted our entire show.

We had such a great show lined up but now all we can do is upload the photos and videos we took while we were doing the show. We clicked save and yet its not even there!!!!!
