What kind of competitions did you attend in high school? Do you have any interesting memories that occurred at these?
Her Response:I love, loved, loved the Saturday cross country invitationals! Chris Avery's parents would always bring us bagels, and we would all chill out around the little tent Pachla would set up. It was fun goofing around during warm-ups, especially Junior year when we had Jeremy J. and Josh. The one I hated, though, was Walled Lake Western. There was this stupid Mega-Hill that you had to run up like 3 or 4 times because you did laps around this park. The worst part about it was that Pachla took us to Alpine Valley Ski Lodge to run up the ski hills for practice. YUCK!
