My friend JD decides to put on a charity Karaoke competition, which basically turned out to be the party of the year for Ave Maria. I had such a good time there that night as everyone did. He had jugdes that critiqued you after your performance, similar to what American Idol does.

My song for the night was Finch - What it is to Burn. And basically I was the opening act. So immediately I downed my long island to get the jitters outta me. For sure none of the judges had ever heard this song and it begins with a horrendouse scream of "SHE BUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRNSSSS!!!!!!!". That totally got the attention of the crowd and I actually didnt sound too bad. well i dont go out to concerts very often.. even though i should as im huge into music.. just something i never did.. well i just recently went to a taproot concert with some friends and coworkers.. the coolest part of it is that my boss john went with us.. he stood out though.. he was the only one wearing dress atire.. everyone probably figured he was high class undercover CIA material! dave showed up out of no where with this huge ass beer.. it was in an oversized can or jug.. turns out he had three of them.. HAHA that explains why he ran upstairs to chase after the lead singer holding firmly with drunken confidence two peace signs.. hes special.

In my ("I wanna play a guitar phase") which lasted 6 months, I really was becoming better at playing such hit tunes as "Crash Into Me", "Plush", "Take My Picture" and much more.

But I still wanted to learn more.

So one day, I am hanging out at the local sandwich shop (AKA Potbelly). And I acquire a business card of the singer who was playing beautiful melodies as I eat my lunch. He was cool. EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THAT HE IS TRYING TO SELL ME LESSONS IN A SANDWICH SHOP!!!

Apparently I didnt think anything of it. But now if theres ever a time when Susan is down and feeling blue. She can envision me conversing with a singer/songwriter/sandwich enthusiast and it will bring light to her day.

During construction on the OC at OU, I and a female friend weaved through the construction, and were able to get to the roof on the addition, and just look over the campus.

I and a friend wanted to see the city from a high vantage point, so we were finally able to get over to the Hancock building, and at the last minute decided to run most of the way, instead of taking the elevators.

So, we ran fifty flights. When we ran fifty, we said, 'Why not run sixty?' When we ran the sixty, we said, 'Why not run sixty-one?' Then, we took the elevator the next twenty flights.

At the top-most accessible level, we found ourselves on an abandoned floor, where there was clearly some renovation happening.

We opened one of the bare rooms, and found that not only were we able to look out over the city from eighty or ninety floors up, but we were even able to open the windows and lean out.
