This Christmas, I got a Rubik's cube in my stocking, this was the start of my Rubik's Madness.
Since then, I have learned to solve the Rubik's cube, in about 1 and a half minutes. Every once-in-a-while I'll finish it in a good 1 minute and 15 seconds.

I have brought my Rubik's cube to school, only to end up getting the whole class around me, just to see me solve it, it was amazing. Even the teacher was watching, which was pretty sweet.

So, ever since Christmas, I have had a new fad of playing around with the Rubik's cube, and it has yet to stop amusing me. I feel that I will never get bored of playing around with the Rubik's cube. And I hope to get more intense Rubik's creations, such as, Rubik's Revenge, and the Professor Cube, and even Square One. I also want to get Rubik's magic.

So one weekend I decided to go up to matt W.'s sisters boyfriends cousins cabin up in McBain MI. I took friday off of work because I planned on Skiing with matt at some sweet mountain up north in Michigan.

The drive was fine and I called him when I was at some random party store. He came to get me about 10 minutes later and boy am I glad that he did get me because this cabin was wayy back in the woods.

Okay so back to the rest of this memory.

Once Matt picked me up I followed him to this amazing property out in the middle of nowhere. This place had all of the ammenities that you could possibly want in an up north cabin! There were tons of guns, a bunch of 4 wheelers and snow mobiles, about 20 bunk beds, lots of room, TV, a nice kitchen and everything.

Matt and I soon left for our skiing and snowboarding adventure. We brought along the portable podcast if we felt random and felt like talking to lots of people, but that never felt right at the lodge or on the . . . Read More..

Sometime before Christmas my mother made a comment about the box in the dinning room. Through simple clues, mostly Ben's stupidity, I could tell it was a unicycle for me. So, on Christmas I got a unicycle to ride.

Now, the weather was good at this point, so Ben and I went out to try and ride it. Ben went first and found a painful secret, it can hurt a lot. I found it not to be too bad, but harder than any thing I have done before.

I kept on practicing though and have so far gotten almost nowhere. I learned a little bit about it, but not much. At one point I got Josh trying it, Although he was bad, he too kept trying. So, when the weather gets better, Josh and I stall do are best to learn to ride a unicycle.

For a couple of years, I always went out on Halloween with David. We always had fun doing it and since we were both in Cross Country, we decided to run from every house to the next. I always thought it was funny that David was the oldest person I knew and saw that still went out for the candy.

His costumes were always so simple, normally a black robe and a really awesome mask. Those masks were always so bloody sweet. So, we did this for a few years. I believe on the last year I went with David, he stole a bunch of candy from the Wilson's house because he knew Colin's brother. It was pretty funny.

Now I mostly go with my friends. My main group is Josh, Monger, and Doug if he isn't doing stuff. I remember about 2 years ago I went around with just Monger. We spent most of our time running from Christmas carolers or Monger was trying to anger them and getting hit for it. Weird way to spend a Halloween.

This actually happened more so from the late 1980's to the early 1990's, but that choice was unavailable....

One of my fondest childhood memories has to be the many weekend arcade trips with my two cousins, Dave (TheMemoryCrawler) and Dan (dan10878) at a place called; Area Code 313! My Father and their Father, my uncle Mike (golfnmike1959), would most times sit and drink coffee while we spent hours playing games until our fingers hurt...or we ran out of tokens. More times than not it was due to running dry on tokens.

I can recall a few arcade games being my favorites above the rest. First being the original WWF Royal Rumble game. Having the option of four people playing in the same game all at once and being that I was an avid wrestling fan, it was an easy choice. Gauntlet II, Frogger, Pac-Man (of course), Rampage and Golden Axe were some of the easy choices for me! I also remember spending countless amounts of time and my Father's money playing the first Street . . . Read More..
