During spring break in '05, I took Emily down to Arizona to stay with my great uncle. While down there, we did the usual tourist stops of crossing the Mexican border, visiting Sedona, AZ, going to the Grand Canyon, crossing the Hoover Dam, and finishing the stops in Las Vegas. Our plan was to head up there and stay at my uncle's daughter Julie's place in Vegas and then do some sight seeing the next day and head back to Arizona. Well, we got to Vegas, did some sight seeing (tons and tons of walking), and then stayed the night at Julie's place. The next morning we planned on doing a little more sight seeing and head back. Well, we walked down the strip some more and soon realized that we weren't even going to see half of the main drag. After my parents divorce, they got back together after about a year and were basically a little bit of a cute joke within the extended family cause they would always say "Oh yeah and bring the boyfriend."  So eventually my parents plan this huge trip out to Vegas to get remarried on what would have been their 25th anniversary had they stayed together.  We brought a ton of our family from both my Dad's side and my Mom's side and everyone who wanted to go was invited.  This is the one trip that I can honestly say that my parents went all out in.  I love family trips and hope to have a big one overseas someday.

I remember waking up butt early because my mom had to get to the airport 3 hours early before our flight.  I remember Dan and I playing a couple of classic old school games on his laptop in the airport.

So my company was soo cool and decided to celebrate becoming a new company by flying and inviting everyone out to Las Vegas for a fun filled weekend.

And they went all out. The flew us out there, gave us some new company swag, 50 dollars in gambling money, a hotel for two nights and an extravagant dinner.

So I get to Erica's house on friday and we drive to the airport. I hang with a few work friends at the airport for a few hours until boarding. matt V. missed his first flight and somehow we thought that others as well were going to miss the flight. But somehow everyone made it.

When we landed, Drew called and told me he would pick me up. So I waited for him to pick me up and we attempt to drive to Bellagio so I could check in, bu the traffic was kind of bad and we also veered away from the strip because we had food on our mind and were attempting to find the In-And-Out burger he thought was off of Tropicana.
