Today I attended another funeral. This time my brothers wife.My brother Tom has been dead now for 22 years. But his wife Judy lived long after him. She was ill for quite awhile and finally gave up the fight. My favorite nephews are her sons and it hurt to see their loss.I was somewhat suprised to find out Judy's age. She was only 8 years older then me. Growing up in the 50's gives a person a different outlook then any other generation. I want to write about attending my first baseball game at Briggs stadium (later called Tiger stadium). On TV I saw the game in glorious black and white but I remember walking up the ramp to the seating area and seeing the most beautiful green baseball diamond in the world. I was totally in awe and didn't move for the longest time. My dad looked down at me and knew he made the right decission to take me out to the ballgame.Later when I became a dad I love to take my daughters to see the Tigers
